The Paint Process for Wrought Iron Door

Now, wrought iron door is a good choice for home decoration, we would like to share how the painting process goes as followings:
1. Primer
A. Thin primer- 4 hours
B. Putty filling- 6-8 hours
C. 320CW sand paper grinding by hand on the filler.
D. Second thicker Primer-(One night)
E. Check and Putty Filling-(6-8 hours).
F. Again 320CW sand paper grinding by hand on the filler.
G Third thicker primer-(One night)
2.Face paint
A. Thick black paint-(6-8 hours).
B. Check & Putty Filling-(6-8 hour)
C. 320 CW sand paper grinding by hand on the filler.
D. 320CW sand paper grinding( not heavy) on the whole door.
E. Thin Black paint-4 hours.
F. Check and putty filling again-(6-8hours)
G. 320 CW sand paper grinding by hand on the filler.
H. 600 CW sand paper grinding (lightly) by hand on the whole door
I.Thick Black paint (Spray evenly to make sure the brightness of the whole door is the same)-(6-8 hours)
J.Cloudy Black paint before color made.
3. Color made
4. Clear Coat
A. Thicker Clear coat-(24 hours)
B. Sanding with 1000 or 1200CW sand paper (lightly)
C. Cloudy clear coated. This clear coat could more thinner to make it thin, then cloudy spray).
If you just touch up the door, just start from the face paint, no need primer.
